WRITE ON!

It's time to practise descriptive language for our narrative writing. Can you add to today's brainstorm? We began with a NOUN,then added the ADJECTIVE and finally the VERB!

Class collaboration
...sharp claws swiping
...powerful wings beat
...blistering fire roars
...mysterious cave echoes
Chloe-violent dragon rears
Siobhon-old totem glares
Ivan-flaming eyes glaring
Sam-sharp pincers snapping
Fintan-scaly skin reflecting
Mairead-nurturing cave guarding

  5. Hi Mrs Yore and Grade 3/4!

Here's my attempt at some good descriptive writing:

    Hungry tummies grumbling.

What do you think? We did a similar activity on our blog - we had to make a skinny sentence into a fat one! We had to fatten it up with some great adjectives! It was a lot of fun!

Good luck with your Narrative writing!

    Best wishes,
