"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire!"
I think it's a great opportunity to revisit all those big books we all enjoyed in prep, like Mrs. Wishy Washy for example. Simple stories like these, with a small number of characters are great to portray using puppets, and you can even add songs too! Plus, you've got a ready-made audience for your shows right there at school.I can't wait to see what you come up with! Good luck!Mrs. Rutherford
Dear Mrs Rutherford,Thank you for commenting on our blog and sharing ideas. We are still deciding. So far, Chloe has read 38 tales! We are going for our black belts in reading!(50 stories)The Middles.
I will have to think of a story or two, and share with Fintan. Good work Middles !!! Theresa :)
What about a story frOm the Bible. I think Noah's Ark could be great as a puppet show. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do.Kirsty Alderton
