YOUNG INVENTORS

                                                www.techi.com

After completing research projects on a space
topic of choice, and viewing many
documentaries about life in space, the Seniors
are now looking to create a prototype for a
 new invention. This could
be for use in space or for any other use.

What new inventions
could assist with space
travel,space
exploration or life
in space?

What new inventions
could make life
better for us today?

  1. Hi Seniors,
Could you please invent something so that I don't feel so bad about leaving my dog at home alone all day when I am at work?
    Thanks,
    Mrs Klein

    1. Hi Mrs Klein,

I am a student from this class, Senior MY. And I do have some suggestions on what to do, as I do have a dog of my own.
Some things you can make are:
Have some treats in a little bottle, and put small holes in it. Then the dog will try and get the treats out, and he/she can eat them. (Or something else than a bottle)

Some things that you can buy are:
      Toys - Squeaky
      Little area to play

I hoped I helped! - and your dog, of course.
I will hopefully come up with some more.

  2. Hi Senior My,
I am so excited about this project. I have already got my idea and thought it through, I think it will work, but I am not sure yet.
It's going to be one of the best projects ever!
I can't wait to get started!

  3. Hi Senior MY

I can't think of any human convenience that needs to be met by a new invention, but I look forward to hearing and seeing what you think of.

    Cheers

  4. Hello Middle Matters,

I have read Thomas Edison once said, "Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration."

He was basically telling us an idea is only of value if we are willing to make the effort to see it through.

Invention is not only creating something completely new, it can involve inventing ways to make something work better.

Thomas Edison didn't invent the light bulb, he worked on the idea until he found a way to make one that could be manufactured. He had experimented with many materials as the filament inside a light bulb before he found one that worked well.

When once asked about his failures, he had said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

If you are stuck for an idea for something completely new, can you find something already invented and invent a way to make it better?

  5. Hi everyone,
I'm not really sure we seem to have all we need here! But I'm really looking forward to doing this new project because we have choice and we can design new things!
    Keep up the good posts!
    Lizzy!

  8. With all the hot days we have had I would love someone to invent a device that sucks all the hot air out of my car before I have to get into it. Good Luck with all your inventing. LyndaK-S

  9. Hi Senior MY,
I am really excited about this project! I have a few ideas and thoughts about what I will be doing. There is one thing that could make life better, It would be to have robots that can clean your room! Keep up the good work.

  10. Hi Senior MY,
I regularly have to deal with wet sports bags after a drink bottle leaks. I would like a non-leaking drink bottle invention!!!
