Cyber Safety Tool Kit-Students Reflect

At school our amazing ICT teacher gave us an interesting surprise. We were given a mystery toolbox that had unusual things in it.The toolbox was a fun way to learn about cyber safety. The students gathered the information they had learnt and put it into a creative and joyful video. Enjoy the movie and cheers from Dylan and Ciaran!

POSITIVE EDUCATION - SENIORS EXPO

Reflecting about a great project: Yesterday the Seniors performed our plays and presented our media about what we have learnt this year in Positive Education. Not only was it super fun, but it helped us to revise our learning. It was a very memorable day for us and the rest of the school. We shared learning about goal-setting, bullying and cyber bullying and being resilient in our daily lives. We hope we can do this again.

SAFER INTERNET DAY

Today's post is from Daniel and Georgia!

Today we watched a safer internet day program. We learnt to use programs with respect when online with the things we do on the internet! We learnt to not use copy right sights for buying music on the internet. For movies. use itunes and google play. Ways in which the internet is misused include cyberbullying, spam, scam, fake profiles, hacking and bad language.

What is our responsibilty? Never share your password, text politely and use privacy settings on instagram and other types of sharing. When you are on an online game show respect, when using websites for homework don't copy directly from the internet. So when you are using the internet, be safe and don't get friends to email their homework to you!!!
