NED KELLY RIDES AGAIN

Inspired by Sidney Nolan's "Ned Kelly" series and our current inquiry, "History in the Making," we have created our artworks about Ned Kelly.

  1. That is really cool! Ned Kelly would love it, I think.

I like how the artwork is similar enough to make a nice collection, but different enough to make each piece interesting and unique. The black figure on a colorful background is a very strong image and the color combinations you all used were fantastic.

I'm going to stop commenting now and watch it again!

  2. Hope you are all keeping your art to show off in future years- maybe even when you turn 21!! Wow how far off is that, but that is what I did for my children at their parties!! You've captured Ned Kelly and the outback so well!
Keep it up Cheers Mrs Bellesini

  3. Hello Middles,

I love these paintings. They remind me of the work of Sidney Nolan and his Ned Kelly collection.

Was Sidney Nolan's paintings your inspiration?

We like your pictures about Ned Kelly, especially the vivid yellows and oranges for the outback.

  11. I never fail to enjoy animotos and children's art and so this is lovely post to view. Ever since being a child (a long time ago now) I have loved the image of Ned Kelly, sadly I still try to amuse my wife by wearing an upturned wicker basket on my head as I run upstairs!
    Have a lovely summer break
