THE NIGHT ARRIVES - 2013 SCHOOL PRODUCTION
Ivan : You can hear the crowd applauding as they whoop and cheer for you! You can blink in the lights as they shine in your face and make you feel like true superstar. The idea of travelling Australia was a great idea and really showed the culture and beauty of our land.
Akon: After visiting beautiful Victoria and South Australia, the family headed to Western Australia, meeting some boot scootin boys and girls, while listening to some country music...oh, and the Flame Trees, the beautiful classic, touching the audience's heart.
Rylee: Finishing off with flame trees was beautiful...singing the song loudly, but smoothly...the atmosphere was filled with emotion.
Joe: I was feeling nervous backstage as the narrators spoke their opening lines. I peeked through the curtains to hear, "So sit back, put on your seat belt and enjoy the pleasures of our wonderful students and our Great Southern land." Then I knew it was time....
Conor: Have you ever felt that feeling...when you're about to go on stage...about to show everyone in that audience...what you're worth...what you've got and how awesome you are? You've got one chance, not two, and the only person who can make it work is you!
Simon: "Senior MY and their amazing act are coming!" I imagine my family saying as I step onto the stage!I walk on to the stage and hear the music....I loved it!

WONDER AND AWE - The Gift of Creation
As we work on our sustainability unit, it is a perfect time to consider God's call to be stewards of creation. After watching David Attenborough's beautiful images accompany, Louis Armstrong's, "What a Wonderful World," we discussed the gift of wonder and awe and selected our own favourite images of creation.
